The Pride and The Passion - George Antheil
Never have seen the Stanley Kramer film of this... I mainly picked up the lp due to the composer, George Antheil, the former "Bad Boy of Music" in the early part of the 20th Century (try to find his famous composition "Ballet Mechanique").
Being set in Spain during the Napoleonic Wars, the score has a heavy Spanish flavor - if you're a fan of Miklos Rozsa's EL CID, you'd find this to be a great companion.
Give it a try.
